Alan Wilkis is a good-times remix mastermind from Brooklyn, and what better project to complete than fellow local band Yeasayer‘s ‘Ambling Alp’.  Alan’s has great credentials with a wonderful website full of vintage synth saturated remixed goodies including Phoenix‘s ’1901′, The Very Best‘s ‘Warm Heart Of Africa’, and a fantastic EP with all original material titled Pink And Purple (buy). UPDATE: Yeasayer performed ‘Ambling Alp’ on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night.  Is it just me or does the shaven version of singer Chris Keating oddly resemble Mick Jagger… you decide.
