Jónsi’s latest album Go is an exercise in grandiose pop orchestrations.  The emotional spectrum is huge, yet each individual song has a focused purpose.  Everything from the bounding intricacies of “Go Do” and “Boy Lilikoi” to the spiraling vastness of “Kolniður” and “Grow Till Tall”, all tracks seem to convey a unique and concentrated moral aspect on life.  This is precisely the reason why we have presented this review as a collection of unofficial music videos set to poignant scenes from various animated Disney films.

At the core of Go is Jónsi’s attempt to musically personify those fleeting moments that shape, and often blind-side our lives.  This notion is easily illustrated by the videos below:  childhood dreams are realized, passion is unexpectedly discovered, heroes are found vulnerable, and in the face of tragedy love will always triumph.
